Splyc ("we," "our," or "us") provides tools that let users manage, process, and share media clips from connected platforms such as Twitch, YouTube, and Kick. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Splyc.
We collect the information you provide when creating a Splyc account, including your name, email, and connected platform details. When you link third-party platforms, we receive auth access tokens that allow us to interact with those services on your behalf. Tokens are encrypted, stored securely, refreshed only when necessary, and permanently deleted if you disconnect or delete your account. We never store your platform passwords.
We also collect metadata about clips, including URLs, timestamps, and processing details, as well as logs and device data needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
We use your data to authenticate your account, manage clip workflows, operate and improve the platform, communicate with you, and meet legal obligations. Your information helps us maintain and secure the service, prevent abuse, and support customer operations. We do not sell your personal data or use it for unrelated advertising.
We share data only with trusted providers who support our platform, including cloud hosting partners, analytics services, and customer-support tools under strict data-processing agreements. These providers may process data only under our instructions and are prohibited from using it for their own purposes.
We may disclose information if required by law or to prevent fraud, abuse, or harm. In the event of a merger or acquisition, user data may be transferred, and affected users will be notified.
You may disconnect connected accounts, request a copy of your data, or delete your Splyc account at any time by contacting privacy@splyc.app. You may also revoke authentication permissions directly through your connected platform. We respond to verified requests within 7 days.
We process personal data based on contract performance, legitimate interests such as service improvement and security, and compliance with legal obligations.
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data, object to certain uses, and file a complaint with your local data authority.
Splyc uses encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and continuous system monitoring. While no system is completely secure, we take every reasonable measure to protect your information. Contact security@splyc.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
We retain personal data while your account remains active or as needed to provide the service. When your account is deleted or becomes inactive, data is removed or anonymized unless retention is required by law or necessary to prevent fraud and resolve disputes.
Your data may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. We rely on standard contractual clauses and other legal safeguards for international transfers of personal data.
Splyc complies with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
If you believe content shared through Splyc infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated DMCA Agent at dmca@splyc.app.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted at splyc.app/privacy, and we will notify you by email or in-app notice of any significant changes.
